well not that i rate stuff SOLELY based on how much someone knows... but im a sucker for anything resembling melodic minor, and personally addicted to Cm... so lucky u, my friend :)

the bass line is rather simple with the root-2nd-3rd-6th-5nd run but nevertheless a sweet lil arrangement with the 6+2/8 feeling u get from the way u structured the chord progression.. awsome extentsion.. mayb use thicker things on the pad.. well i dunno i can hear room for improvement, but its hard to suggest where cuz the elements are in a way intertwined...

and sweet bends with the voice pad or w/e that is

better than the other song...

i actually like this one better... there are a few notes that sound out of place rhythmically, but nevertheless the diversity is MUCH MUCH better, and although your "chorus" has only two chords the melody makes the song more interesting. Good use of strings. And I will personally NEVER bitch anyone about their technical skill because I'm self-taught and can't play s**t. Good job though. I could almost see them snowflakes.

like punk rock... on a piano...

not that it doesnt sound good but... you're only sticking to 4 base notes and creating variations on the treble. And besides, going down a half-step on the bass makes ANY song sound like "Stairway to Heaven" OR "Tears in Heaven", so its already a bit cliche unless you have a whole chord structure on top of it. The melody was creative, but got boring quickily. Work on rhythm, maybe try playing like really high pitched notes on the offbeats (kinda like snowflakes falling and touching the ground, i guess?). Good work but... you can do a better job.

awesome job

if this is an improv, its really really good. im blown away by the fast changing chord progression. now, i just think it sounds waaay too neat to b completely improvised, and im now sayin its bad if its not, and i believe u it is.. but you must have played this before at some point, like, a completely out of rhythm, melodically messed up version: save that one. i wrote the most amazing song and it sounded messed up and i just rewrote it in rhythm and it never reached the same level of "whoa". ur song is awesome, but if you did make something before this, i just suggest you save it cuz u can get hundreds and hundreds of ideas out of it. if u happen to go check my audio, the song ode alla vittoria iii is not the original thing.. its actually around 1/4 of the entire original song, just better organized. so if there is an original, remember to go back to it.. its worth it. in terms of playin, nothing really lol ur song is awsome, i love the mix between the roots and the chords, awsome progressions, id add a solo-ish thing to the right hand tho, otherwise amazing.

because I played the chords over and over but everytime a bit different.
The first time I played that kind of tune was 3 years ago.
That song was only the first of 3 song I recorded. I can't send the other 2 to NG because they are too big (10 min).
I'll submit another shorter Improvisation and there you will hear similar chords and parts. BUT it will be still very very different^^.

i figured this song out for piano, but errr im actually not a pianist, i've just been messing around them keys for 11 years hehe so i dont hav the ability to play the left hand part and the right. well u had one flaw or two but tahts okay. and u also got stuck on the same part i did, which is kindav cool: okay, for the second chord on the song, ur playing the same as the first one, which sounds a lil bit weird. try dropping the root one whole step for that, i did that when i played the song and it sounded sweet.. try it, maybe its wrong, it just sounded right for me. nevertheless, awsome job. OH and if you want a cool rhythm for the left hand instead of 1/8 notes, watch the flash "link's quest for ass: 2". the intro has that song in the guitar with a sweet rhythm for the bass line. err okay ill shut up now...

its pretty cool... and btw, sweet piano, i love the sound although its a just a little bit outtav tune. its fine though, im not the person that bitches about fine tuning, i hav ppl to tell me that hahah anyways... its cool. you go the notes right, thats for sure.. you hesitated after the first time around, when you went back to the minor chord (i dont remember what it is, when i played that song i thought it was Am i dunno what key ur playin it in here). i wud not make the left hand forte, just tone it down a bit and let the right hand speak for itself hehe nevertheless, its pretty good, if you actually managed to incorporate more of the song, itd b sweet. good job.
